Once you have logged in the Radius Charge - Home & Work app from the App Store or Play Store, you will be able to log in with the account details set up previously.
Once your home charger is online, you will be presented with the below screens to set up your charger.
If you have been granted access to workplace chargers, you will not be prompted to go through any charger set up steps.
- The first screen will show a few options for setting a charging schedule. You have the option to either:
- Utilise the UK Regulations, off-peak charging schedule times (11am-4pm and 10pm-8am daily) by clicking 'Use off-peak'
- Set up a custom charging schedule time later in the app, or have no schedule by clicking 'Set later'
- Next, decide how you want to operate your charger:
- In 'Automatic' mode - Connecting your vehicle to the charger will immediately start a charging session if you have no schedules set. If a schedule has been set, power delivery will start at the scheduled start time.
- Or in 'App-controlled' mode - After connecting your vehicle to the charger, you will need to tap the ‘Charge’ button within the app to authorise a charge session. Power will be delivered during your set schedule, or instantly if no schedule is set.
- Finally, you can set a charger name, and edit the pin location of your charge point
- The address name will be set as the installation location by default, but the map is editable if for example the charge point is located on the other side of the building or an out building etc.
- Simply click the pencil icon to edit the name of your charger. If no name is specified, this will default to the charger’s device ID
- You can zoom in and out of the map, dragging it to the correct location for your charger.
- Once you are happy with your chosen settings, click 'Confirm'
- This will take you through to view and interact with your charger:
