Home charger: What is charger mode?

The charger mode is the way the charger operates. 

For a home charger, you can choose between 'app controlled', 'automatic' and 'locked'. 

App controlled mode is using your app to start and stop charging sessions, you will need to click charge each time in the app to open a charge session - that can be a scheduled session or an instant charge session.

Automatic mode allows you to plug in your vehicle and charging sessions start automatically. This can either open a scheduled charge session, for power to be delivered to the vehicle during the scheduled time, or deliver power instantly after plug-in. 

Locked mode is similar to a 'holiday mode', where you can ensure your charger cannot be used if you are away from the property. 

How do I change the charger mode?

1. Log in to the Radius Charge app
2. You should see your home charger
3. Click into the charger settings
4. Click 'Charger mode'
5. Here you can choose between Automatic, App-controlled and Locked modes
