The VAT receipts search tool is a system or service that helps EV drivers find their VAT receipts if they did not retrieve it immediately after the transaction was completed. The EV driver can search for historical transactions and either email or download the VAT receipt.

Step 1: Access the VAT Receipts Search Tool

Step 2: Search Options

• The below screen will pop up allowing the EV driver to do a Basic or Advanced Search:

• Basic Search:
  • Charge Reference - This refers to a unique reference that can be found on the EV driver's bank statement/banking app related to the payment of the charge transaction.
  • This is normally an alphanumeric value, i.e. 7QGADBYWDZ

•  Advanced Search:
  • Date of Transaction - Date and Time of charge transaction (either started or stopped time is accepted). Does not have to be the exact time of the charge transaction.
  • Charge Location - Location's name. Does not have to match on casing or exact name.
  • Last 4 Digits of Payment Method - Last 4 digits of the card that was used for the payment of the charge transaction.
  • Transaction Amount - Amount of the charge transaction. Does not have to be the exact amount.
  • All fields are required to be completed.

Hint: In order to get some of the values, the EV driver can use their bank statement/banking app payment reference to help populate some of the above fields.

Step 3: Charge Transaction Summary

• After clicking on the Search button in the previous step, if a charge transaction is found, the EV driver will see a summary of the charge transaction details as per below:

• The EV driver can choose to either email or download the VAT receipt.
