- When you arrive at a charging station compatible with QR code payments, you should see a QR code displayed either on the charger screen, or on signage on/ near the charge point. If there is a screensaver displayed on the screen, you can tap the screen or plug in your vehicle to display the QR code
- Please use your mobile device camera to scan the QR code
- Once the device has recognised the QR code, it should show a clickable link on screen
- Once you have clicked that link, you will be taken to a Radius Charge web page which will ask you to plug in your vehicle if you haven't done so already
- After you have connected your vehicle, the web page will show the charging cost, allowing you to select the desired charging amount
- Once you have chosen a pre-set amount or entered your own amount, and clicked 'Continue', you will be taken to a 3rd party payment screen
- Here, you can either pay by your device supported payment (Apple Pay in this example), or by entering your card details
- Once the payment has been accepted, your charging transaction should start. The webpage should refresh to show charging is in progress, and present the details of your charging session
- If you click the ‘Stop Charging’ button, or if your chosen charging amount has been reached; your webpage will update to show that charging has stopped and the transaction is complete
- You can then choose to have a receipt emailed to you, if you wish to enter your email address.
